FAQ

Why did my loan not renew?

There are several reasons why your loan may not be renewable.

  • Loans may not renew if you have overdue item(s), fines or blocks on your account.
  • Items may not renew if your loan has reached the maximum loan renewal duration.
  • Renewal conditions vary if your item is not from UNSW - see Interlibrary loans.
  • For a full list of possible reasons see Borrowing - Renew.

Contact the Library if you have lost a library book, cannot return your loans on time or you are not sure why an item is on your account.

We encourage all clients to check your myLibrary account or Uni-Verse app on a regular basis. Ensure that you are aware of any changes to your due dates.

Return items in person or by post (allow time for delivery) before they are due. For more information see Borrowing - Return.

Failure to return items by the due date may result in fines and suspension of borrowing privileges.
