People are being noisy in the Library. What should I do?
If you are being disturbed by noise in the Library, feel free to respectfully let someone know they are disturbing you.
If you need to report a disturbance, contact UNSW security on +61 2 9385 6000 (or use the UNSW Security Help Point intercoms available) as soon as possible. Alternatively, during staffed opening hours see staff at the Help Zone or contact us. Library Help Point phones are available near lift foyer on each level at Main Library (except Level 2).
The Main Library has dedicated spaces for silent or quiet study.
Levels 6 and 7 of the Main Library are dedicated to silent study.
Quiet areas or study pods can be found on Levels 5 and 8 (Level 5 except when event in progress).
All Library members and visitors should respect other Library clients and not participate in behaviour or conduct likely to interfere with others.
