FAQ

Why has the due date of my loan changed?

You will receive an email notification when due dates have changed.

An item's due date may change for reasons including:

  • When your loan item has been requested by someone else - recalled items need to be returned within seven days.
  • Borrowing periods are automatically shortened to three days if a requested item is in high demand.
  • Loans can shorten if your account will expire soon.
  • If your borrowed item is an interlibrary loan, the lending library has recalled it.

Contact the Library if you have lost a library book, cannot return your loans on time or you are not sure why an item is on your account.

We encourage all clients to check your myLibrary account or Uni-Verse app on a regular basis. Ensure that you are aware of any changes to your due dates.

Return items in person or by post (allow time for delivery) before they are due. For more information see Borrowing - Return.

Failure to return items by the due date may result in fines and suspension of borrowing privileges.
