When you cannot come in to browse the items available on the shelf, you may be able to log in to myLibrary and search Library collection to find and request items. However, you are not able to request an on the shelf item to be on hold for you.
Normally, you can request items that are on loan to someone else, in Library Storage, in Paddington Storage, in Off-site Storage or at another UNSW campus library:
Items currently on the shelf cannot be requested for collection at the same Library location or campus (e.g. cannot collect an item from Main Library at Law Library - same Kensington campus)
If an item is on loan, you will be placed in a queue to collect at the same Library or another campus when it becomes available
An item in Library Storage or Paddington Storage can be requested for collection at the same Library or another UNSW campus Library.
