My chosen journal has an open access publishing agreement with UNSW. Do I still have to deposit my research in UNSWorks to comply with the UNSW Open Access Policy?

Yes. The UNSW Open Access Policy still requires you to deposit your work in UNSWorks for the purposes of preservation and further dissemination.
