FAQ

How do I book a group study room?

To save time finding somewhere to study in the Library, UNSW students can book a collaborative study space in Main and Law Libraries.

Book a study space

  • There are a variety of different spaces available to suit your needs including open booths and enclosed rooms.
  • Most rooms are equipped with LCD screens and whiteboards. Check room details before finalising your booking.
  • Total bookings can be made up to a maximum of 4 hours per day.
  • Remember to arrive at your reserved space within 15 minutes of your booking start time. Otherwise, your booking is forfeited and available for anyone to use.
  • For more information on spaces available in the Library, how to book and the terms and conditions of use, see study space bookings.

Ensure your belongings are kept safe and spaces are available for other clients. Leave Library equipment in place and report any faults. Check your belongings and power cables do not obstruct the walkways and exits. Please take your belongings with you. Leaving personal belongings on desks or chairs to reserve a study space is not permitted.

If you notice areas that have unattended property, please contact Library staff or UNSW security. If you have lost property in the Library, items are held for approximately 24 hours before collection by UNSW security. For more information see Left property policy.
